♥ FOOD ♥
Kindly advise us of any allergies, food sensitivities or special dietary restrictions with as much advanced notice as possible so we may plan our meal preparations accordingly; we will always do our best to accommodate you.
Many of our rooms offer individual refrigerators, so we invite you to bring any specialized snacks you may prefer.
♥ CHILDREN ♥
We have certain rooms and suites that are best suited for families; we welcome children of all ages but do not possess highchairs or pack-n-plays on site.
Please call us before you make your reservation; we want you to feel welcomed, but we do have an attractive pond and waterfall on property which requires constant, parental supervision -without exception; we want everyone to be on the same page.
♥ PETS ♥
We love them but are not equipped to meet their needs.
Certified, seeing-eye dogs are the only pets permitted on property.
♥ SPIRITS ♥
We have our very own, intimate little pub which everybody loves!!
We observe our responsibility to serve age-appropriate beverages to responsible consumers.
As we have a liquor license, it is a violation of Massachusetts State law for alcohol, not purchased through our license, to be consumed on the property.
♦ SMOKING
The Cornell adheres to, and appreciates your loyal participation in, our property-wide non-smoking policy.
As is customary in the hospitality industry, a cleaning and de-fumigation surcharge of at least $300 will be added to the bill in case of inadvertence to this policy.
♦ CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT
Check-in is 4pm – 7pm Check-out is 11am
Kindly contact us at (413) 637-4800 if you plan to arrive later than 7pm so we may advise you of the late check-in procedure.
♦ OCCUPANCY
Advertised rates are based on two-person occupancy.
There is a per-night charge of $30 per extra person in allowable rooms (fire code considerations).
If you elect to stay longer than originally planned, please notify the innkeeper to ascertain availability.
If you must alter your intended stay, please notify the innkeeper as soon as possible; as the balance of your reservation might be granted to another guest, which is an opportunity for that night to be refunded to you. In the event that becomes the case, your refund will be processed without delay, and an email confirmation will be sent to you, containing the reference code for that transaction.
♦ FORMS OF PAYMENT
You may join the housecleaning team at any time! (Just kidding!)

♦ DEPOSIT
If staying one night, your deposit is equal to the full room rate for that night.
If staying multiple nights, your deposit is equal to half of your stay; balance to be paid upon arrival.
♦ CANCELLATION POLICY
Very simple: Please don't cancel :)
But if you really need to, contact me directly at (413) 637-4800; or pose email to: innkeeper@cornellbb.com.
Here's what you can expect from me: If you must cancel, you want to do it 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival in order to only be charged the $35 cancellation fee.
Less than 14 days of notice means you part with the entire deposit, (unless your room is elsewise rented) -if that happens- I will immediately return your entire deposit, minus the $35 cancellation fee.
♦ REFUNDS
Refunds for cancellations are processed immediately, less the applicable cancellation fee.
